In Neuropolis, microglia are indispensable maintenance workers, always on the move, ensuring the city’s safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning. They keep the streets clean, respond to emergencies, repair damage, and communicate with other city departments to maintain harmony and order. Without the microglia, the city would quickly fall into disrepair and chaos, highlighting their critical role in maintaining brain health and function.
Using XD to build and prototype the website, the concept is further developed with the inclusion of a VR section that is accessed through a login. This section plays upon the Neuropolis theme and takes the user inside the brain where extra features such as podcasts and educational games can be accessed.
